Portland Pop Up at Passenger Seat Records

Last night we stepped into something new — our very first Moss Music Rituals pop-up. It felt less like a product launch and more like a party, a chance to bring people together around scent, sound, and story. Held in the intimate space of Passenger Seat Records, we introduced Mixtape 1, our first incense collection, to Portland

The evening was part of a collaboration with Winyl PDX, who paired wine and records in a way that elevated everything. Glasses of pinot were passed around while the turntable spun albums that shaped the mood of the night. In the air, our sandalwood blend burned slowly, creating a warmth that drew people closer and gave the space a sense of ritual.

Community is at the heart of Moss Music Rituals, and last night reminded us why. People didn’t just browse or buy they connected. Conversations stretched out over record sleeves, the incense smoke curling above them, music filling every gap. We were fortunate to have Cold Pizza Radio curate a soundtrack that carried the evening, weaving together textures and rhythms that made the night feel alive and connected.

We’re grateful for everyone who came, who listened, and who brought a piece of Mixtape 1 home. It means a great deal to be able to share this project not just as an object, but as an experience. Moss Music Rituals was born out of the belief that incense can be more than background scent — it can be part of how you engage with music, memory, and space.

Starting next month, you’ll be able to find Mixtape 1 on the shelves at Passenger Seat Records. To us, that feels like the perfect home — a place where music lovers already come to slow down, explore, and discover something new.

This was only the beginning. We can’t wait to continue building moments like this, where ritual and sound meet, and where community comes together around the simple act ofOur First Pop-Up: Moss Music Rituals at Passenger Seat Records.
